Timber Cove Resort - Jenner

Great local wine selection enhanced our stay.

The cleaning staff entered our room unannounced and at an inappropriate time, highly disturbing and an invasion of privacy. I was very disappointed when I discovered that they threw away some of my personal toiletries, leaving me feeling vulnerable and frustrated. For the price I paid, I expected much better service, particularly with staff being more attentive and careful.

Tidying of our room was less competent than we expect. Wine glasses were never collected.

Food was good.

Room was to small for the price. Our dog and myself got ticks on us when we hiked the trails that was laid out. Bath room dirty. Hot water in shower ran cold then hot, pressure bad. Gift shop.

Consider trying the interactive activities offered on-site, such as the scavenger hunt along trails, to explore the beautiful surroundings more engagingly.

Everything this is a wonderful hotel in one of the best physical locations imaginable

The room, the location and the restauraunt

The stunning ocean views were a highlight, and the room had a vintage record player that added a unique charm. Nearby dining options required a lengthy drive, which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff were very good and helpful,the view from the room was great,the room ws comfortable and quiet,once I moved from next to the wedding.

I thought5 the staff were great except for one woman who was friendly and superficially pleasant to us, and then turned round to speak to the staff(spanish) in a totally unpleasant way.

Loved the overall ambiance. Very relaxing, beautiful views of the Pacific coastline.

The food was AMAZING! Dinner and breakfast were really good. I loved the unique touch of having a record player in our room. It. The ocean view from our balcony was lovely.

We loved the sheer beauty of Timber Cove Inn and proximity to the ocean. Wonderful to hear the waves crash onto the rocks beneath our room. We loved the gas fire in the room-very cosy. There was no spa in our room- so check when you make the booking as spas are advertised. Lovely hiking trails, beautiful gardens and interesting history. Nearly all the rooms overlook the ocean.Staff friendly especially our lovely evening waitress, Alaysha (?) and the gorgeous fun loving lady behind the bar.The food was great. There was plenty of parking.

There were a few things. The misleading address of Jenner is a big one. It would be nice to add something reassuring to the website that Timber Cove Inn is actually some 15 miles north of Jenner, past a national park of a different name altogether! We really didn't like having a shower stall right in the middle of the room-no privacy at all. We also felt that for the price there should be regular cleaning of the room.Unfortunately we could clearly hear our neighbours talking well into the night on all three nights that we were there. But overall we loved our stay.

The location of this nicely decorated hotel was gorgeous, on unique oceanfront peninsula. Moreover, it was close enough to the cliffs, the coast, architecture, property and Timber Cove for years.

Timber cove resort had an amazing vibe! The staff was super helpful in finding a different room, and the outdoor areas were fine.
